Biography Lucy Norman graduated in 2007 from the University of Brighton with a 1st Class Honours degree in Product Design BSc, winning the Engineering prize for best overall performance. Lula Dot was created at the beginning of 2008 and operates from Supine Studios, a studio/gallery in Hackney. Lula Dot is a company which aims to upcycle London's waste into lasting beauty.

Lucy works as freelance designer in London. Her most recent projects include: display design for Urban Outfitters and Howies, product design for Winther Browne, and set design for the Tufnell Park Theatre Company. Lucy's designs have featured in 1000 New Eco Designs, Lighten Up, and Acme Climate Action. Lucy has exhibited her work at New Designers 07 and 100% Design 08 in London, [Re]Design Contains in Newcastle, Ditchling Museum in East Sussex, and Colette in Paris. Her work is currently on show at the Geffery Museum and Science Museum in London, and the Museum of Design in Plastics in Bournemouth.

Her latest projects have dealt with the problem of waste. She has tackled this by reusing waste to create beautiful products, but has also tried to create products which encourage emotional attachment and therefore increase a product's durability. Lucy works with a range of materials and objects to create lights, jewellery and furniture.
